Experience Codorus Outdoors - Try Geocaching 2025

But Buffalo Can't Climb Trees

ECO3

Difficulty:  2 out of 5
Terrain:  1.5 out of 5
Size:  Micro

Location:  N 39° 47.777        W 76° 53.581

The words buffalo or bison probably make you think of giant herds of large animals roaming the plains in western movies.  Possibly you have seen a bison somewhere or eaten a bison burger.

In geocaching a bison tube is something completely different.  This small aluminum container is easy to attach and easy to conceal, all while protecting its contents from the weather.

The terrain rating shows it is easy to get to this geocache.  Difficulty of 2 indicates it is not too difficult to find.

If this had been a real geocache, you would have found a log inside to sign.  Since this is a special game just for the ECO event, instead of a log you will find a code inside.  Copy that code.  If you find at least one geocache, come back and sign our player board to let everone know you found a cache.

DO NOT TAKE OR MOVE THE GEOCACHE!  PLEASE PLACE THE CONTAINER BACK EXACTLY WHERE YOU FOUND IT FOR THE NEXT GEOCACHER.

Hint:  Just hanging around
